Arts Festival Week April 17th - April 26th 2009

Doctor Who Design and Technology project opens today April 14th.

The spectacular exhibition of primary school children's design project, based on Doctor Who, opened today in the former carpet shop in St Mary Shopping Centre. TAF are very grateful to St Mary Centre for providing the exhibition space.

All tickets have now been sold for "Four in a bar - Jazz café",

"Out on the Toot", "An Audience with John Sergeant", "The Piano Show".

Four in a Bar have just recorded a CD which will be on sale after the show on Thursday 23rd. The proceeds of the CD Sales will go to the Kenya Orphans Project, one of the charities supported by Bristol Medical School.

Severn Vale Arts Trail is open to visitors from May 2nd - May 10th 2009, the trail guide is available now.

The Severn Vale Arts Trail Virtual Gallery is accessible on-line from the Home page.

Thornbury's own local radio station Thornbury FM will be on air again, on FM 87.7, from 18 April to 16 May 2009, we understand that plans are being made to feature performers appearing in the Festival. Current plans (to be confirmed) include broadcasts of interviews, recordings and news items.
