Thornbury Arts Festival 2003 April 20 - April 29 2007

A varied and exciting programme is in prospect.

The Festival opens on Friday April 20th with The Ministry of Entertainment and their acclaimed comedy of life at the Seaside. Sir David Frost and celebrated saxophonist Andy Sheppard and Cascade visit in midweek and the Festival ends on a high with the welcome return visit of Barry Cryer. There is the usual full and varied programme in Festival Week and the Open Studios Arts Trail continues after the extraordinary success of its inaugural year

Community Arts
The Festival encourages the community to be active in the Arts. Activities range from the Eisteddfod, the hot Bands Scene for young people, Poetry, Music and Artwork in the schools, a unique collaboration with the museum and folk musicians, to the Open Studios scheme when local Artists will be in attendance in their own studios.
